Church exists not for itself; church exists to love, serve, and bless the community we are a part of. Someone once said that the health of a church should not simply be determined by how many people show up on a Sunday. Rather, the health of a church should be measured by the health of the community the church is a part of. Join us on Sunday May 26th as we leave the building to build into the community God (and we) love. We will not have our regular worship gathering on May 26th. Instead, we will be gathering at Engage Church by ‘starting out’ to serve our community in creative ways. Stay tuned for more info. In the mean time maybe this video can help explain why we do crazy things like shut down the ‘worship gathering’ and leave the building to build into our community.

Welcome to Engage. Thanks for visiting our site. Feel free to poke around, read our blog, watch some videos, and see what Engage is all about. Visit our contact page if you have any questions. What can I expect when I visit Engage?
When you visit Engage expect quality childcare and age appropriate teaching for those of you with kids. Expect to relax and explore faith in our laid back environment. We have two kinds of seating. For all of you extroverts out there we have some round tables for you to sit with friends and enjoy the conversation. We also have more traditional seating in rows of chairs for those of you who need some time to evaluate if Engage is a place where you can explore faith and connect with God in a meaningful way.
What are we all about?
Engage is a growing community of people who seek to follow the teachings of Jesus. Our hope is to help people find meaning, friendship, truth, and love by trying to focus on the things in life that matter most. If you visit Engage we want you to walk away having re-discovered the hopeful, challenging, and compelling message of Jesus–without all the baggage of feeling judged or rejected. We believe the message of Jesus is a relational message. A message that relates to mess and routines of everyday life in our complex 21st Century world.
Most of us have had some experience with religion. Some good, some not so good. We hope you have had a great experience with church. However, we are meeting many who are growing skeptical of organized religion for a variety of reasons. We understand. That’s why Engage is a safe place for real people with real questions. We don’t think we are a perfect church, nor do we think we are better than anyone else. We are simply trying to help real people find true and real life in Jesus.
