Join us on June 18th at 7:00 p.m. for Next Steps meeting at 19 Shirley Lane in Boiling Springs, 17007. So you have been coming to Engage for a while. You like what you hear, your being challenged, and you have met some pretty incredible people. Maybe, though, you are ready for a little more. A space where you can get some face time with people and ask some of the questions of faith and life that have been bouncing around in your head for a while. Next Steps is for you. Next Steps will meet three times over the Summer for the purpose of going a little deeper in this life of knowing God and being changed by Him. We will cover:
Week 1-What does it look like to know God in a relational way? How do we experience Him outside of Sunday?
Week 2-What is the Bible and why should it matter to my life? How do I read it and connect with God? Date TBA.
Week 3-What is prayer? Why should we pray? What can we expect from prayer? Date TBA

First let me say that I have really looked through the things on the website. I am very impressed with all the information Engage already has available online.
I have listened to one sermon which I believe was titled “Sin”. I wanted to tell you that I found your sermon to be alive! Definately not boring.
I found that services are held at 10:00 A.M.; however, do you have any “Sunday School” classes, or any mid-week bible studies? I could not find information on classes. I do like the fellowship times in order to get to know other members better.
I hope to be able to attend this coming Sunday, August 9, 2009. If there is any change in the time for the praise and worship, please e-mail as soon as you can.
I do have maybe one or two more questions, but I would prefer to ask them in person.

I have attended Engage Comm. Church and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I too, am a film watcher and enjoy old films.
I like the way John, tied in the Clint Eastwood comments about “religion” with modern day churches, and their problems.
If the church isn’t meeting the needs of the people, then where can people go to find relief and help from pain, guilt,sin issues, mental and emotional health issues, marriage problems, etc.
As a body of believers we need to help and pray for one another. I know that Jesus and the Word of God have the answers for peoples’ problems. Children need to know there are answers and that God is real and true. In this crazy, messed up world of ours, we need the body of believers to help one other. People need the Lord, everywhere.
