Podcast Listen to Sermon: The Power of Prayer for Friends in Action

Tim Johnson, Executive Director of Friends in Action will share about his group’s mission of building infrastructure to support Christian missionaries and aid workers in South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Friends in Action raises over a million dollars a year and recruits hundreds of volunteers who travel to remote overlooked places to build wells, runways, roads, and houses to support the work of reaching those far from God and improving local economies. We are pleased and honored to have Tim share the mission of Friends in Action with us. You can learn more at www.fiaintl.org

//The Bridge built through prayer. . .

On July 4th, Engage heard a miraculous story about a Bridge built by volunteers in Guinea W. Africa. Many were moved as they listened to the story of a bridge that liberated a whole village from being cut off from civilization for 5 months of the year.  The audio is only 15 minutes. Download it or click on the link to listen.  Make sure you pay attention to the timing.  Imagine a bridge sitting for 25 years in an abandoned field, the dry season, and the miraculous timing of a lunar eclipse all coming together in a perfect storm of liberation and love for a group of people no one has ever heard of in a place most didn’t even know existed.
