Book: Reading the Bible for the Love of God–Alan Reynolds–This book is great for an introduction in how to read the Bible, why it’s powerful, and what it’s for.  Worth the read.

The Message / TNIV Bible - This Bible has two complementary translations included in it.  The Message is a paraphrase of the Old and New Testaments in our modern day vernacular.  The TNIV is more of a literal modern day translation of the Bible compared to The Message. Both are helpful in their own way.  If you want a Bible, we have copies available for free at the Information Table. Please take one, the Bible’s were purchased with you in mind.
